Watch the video here:

In this video, Michael, co-author of “Bash and Lucy Fetch Confidence,” talks about how dog books for kids help teach kids vocabulary. He says that a Scooby-Doo book (Scooby-Doo and The Phantom Cowboy) taught him at least five new words–and talks about what it learned. Michael loves books and reading, and we hope that his enthusiasm for books inspires other children to love books, too!

In “Bash And Lucy Fetch Confidence,” kids may learn a few new words–many of them related to dogs! In this book, a chatty boy and his dog teach a boys’ soccer team about sports, teamwork–and life!

Michael, you know more words at age five than I did at age 7! Reading is something that’s both fun, and good for you!
